The other day the kids wanted to have rice krispie treats for a snack so I decided to make them today for an after school treat. Funny enough I assumed the box of Rice Krispies would have the recipe on it but it didn't, and I don't make them enough so I really couldn't remember how to make them. They are so easy and quick to make. I found a yummy recipe on pinterest, here is the blog that I found the recipe at. They were super moist and yummy. It was hard to not want to eat the whole batch!
Only 3 ingredients: 5 Cups Rice Krispies, 4 Cups Marshmallows, and 1/2 Cup of Butter
Melt butter in pan
Add marshmallows and stir until melted
Once melted, cook for another 2 minutes continually stirring
Add Rice Krispies and mix until they are all well coated
Put Rice Krispies in greased pan and spread evenly
Once cooled cut into 2 inch squares and enjoy!
I love how gooey and yummy they look, it makes me want to make another batch!
