Kaitlyn's 6th Birthday

Kaitlyn had a lot of parties this year for her birthday.  We celebrated her birthday with the Grandparents on April 13th.  It worked out perfectly because it was the same day as Alexis' dance performance so they were able to watch Alexis as well.  She wanted to have a bubblegum cake and of course it had to have bubblegum on it.

Her favorite part...opening presents

We ordered a big 3 ft sub for lunch, super yummy!

Singing and blowing out the candles

Hidden cake balls inside the cake to match the gumballs on the outside

The happy birthday girl!

Then on her birthday, April 18th, we celebrated it with just us as a family.  She was able to take treats to school to share with her class.  We took ice cream sandwiches that we dipped in sprinkles, the kids loved it and she got a kick out of it as well.

Quite excited to get barbies for her birthday

Since we did a big cake just the week before we decided to put candles in an ice cream sandwich and sing to her.  She thought it was the greatest idea

 All the kids loved it.

On April 20th we had a friend party for her.  She had a bunch of friends come over and play games.  We let the kids make their own homemade ice cream in plastic bags.  It was a lot of fun and they enjoyed.

Happy 6th Birthday sweet Kaitlyn. You are such a wonderful girl and we love having you in our family.  You are such a wonderful helper and a good example to your younger sister and brothers.  We love you!
