Brayden turned one on Sunday June 24th. Amazing how fast the time has gone and how big he as gotten. He is now walking, trying to run to keep up with the girls. He is a such a cutie and we absolutely love having him in our family.
I made his birthday cake after church so we could have a little party for him, I think it turned out quite cute. It was just us, so we blew up balloons, put up decorations, opened presents, ate cake and had a great time with just our little family. He loved it!!
We sang to him and then we all blew the party blowers. After trying a couple of times he was blowing like crazy.
Playing with his new toy. I really thought it was a cute fun toy at the store when I bought it. Little did I know that it was going to be as loud and annoying as it was. But what really matters is that he loves it!! He carries it with him and loves listening to the music and noises it makes.
He was really excited to have his cake, but more intrigued by the candle. He had help blowing it out by his sisters.
It was quite funny to watch him pick up the piece of cake and just shove it in his face for the first bite, he wasted no time in taste testing it. I am glad he enjoyed it so much.
The final result...full tummy and one messy little boy. Luckily he likes taking baths because he definitely got one. He had cake in his diaper all the way up to the top of his head.
