First Day of School

The first day of school always carry's a load of emotions.  Nervous for where your class will be or what your teacher will be like.  Excitement to meet new and old friends and to pull out your new clothes and school supplies.  The girls were quite excited to start school this year.  Kaitlyn will be going into 2nd grade and Alexis is starting Kindergarten.

Alexis' teachers name is Mrs. Holverson's morning kindergarten class. She is so excited and ready to learn.

 Kaitlyn is in Mrs. Mott's class.

Our tradition on the first day of school is they get a giant cookie when they come home.  The last 2 years Alexis was talking about how she couldn't wait to go to school so she could have a giant cookie.  She even reminded me before she left for school to make sure I made cookies for them.  The "K" was for Alexis and Kindergarten and the "2" was for Kaitlyn and 2nd grade.
