Lemonade Stand

The girls have been begging to do a lemonade stand for a while.  Taylor had his parade of homes the last two weekends so we thought it would be fun for them to set up a stand and sell it at his parade home.  We set up a table and decorated it all cute and let the kids stand out there and ask everyone as they walked by if they wanted to buy some lemonade, cookies or taffy.  They made a little over $30 in just a few hours.  I was quite impressed with what they made.  We should have planned ahead and did it the weekend before as well.  It was especially good for Kaitlyn to help her understand how to count money.  It was good for them to get out and talk to people.  I think they had a really good time.  It was extremely hot, so I think we drank most of the lemonade, so it was good we brought enough stuff  to make more.  We will have to do it again next year.

It was so hot out.  It was a good thing we had an umbrella the kids could sit under while they were sitting at the table.

As you can see they had a lot of fun playing with the umbrella as well.

I think Kaitlyn had the most fun sitting at the table selling the Lemonade.  She did a great job and made it even cuter for people to see.
