Halloween 2012

Halloween this year was a lot of fun.  I ventured out this morning to get the last minute parts for their costumes for the kids.  (It's hard when you have a new born to get back on your feet, or at least it was for me) The helpful part was they all new what they wanted to be I just had to figure out what we were going to do for the costumes.  In Kimberly they do a big parade down Main Street that ends at the park.  All the kids get to walk in the parade and then go trick or treating in the park to vendors.  They had hot dogs for everyone to eat for dinner.  We ended up just going and letting the kids eat and then we ended up going back to the neighborhood and walking around with some friends from our ward.  It was a lot of fun and the kids had a blast, plus they got tons of candy which makes it even better.

Brayden was our little Dragon Boy

Kaitlyn was Ariel, the Little Mermaid, her favorite Disney Princess
(We sprayed the blonde wig red and then it ended up dying her hair red and her clothes)

Alexis was Rapunzel.  I made her wig, it was super cute but the hat we attached it too kept falling off because the hair was too heavy.  It was a good idea though and she looked really cute with it on, we just couldn't keep it on her head.

Preston had little Halloween P.J.'s.  They were pretty cute on him.  He had fun trick-or-treating too although he was in the car seat the whole time, I am sure he will enjoy it more next year.
