Kaitlyn's First Day of Kindergarten

Tuesday, September 4th was Kaitlyn's first day of Kindergarten.  She was so excited and could hardly wait to get out the door. She was excited about her new clothes and her new backpack.  It's hard to believe she is old enough to be going to school.

Her teachers name is Mrs. Stanger and their kindergarten class is the purple Jelly Fish class.  Apparently the theme of the year is sea animals.  Kaitlyn was a little nervous when I dropped her off at class, but she was brave and didn't cry a bit.

She sat down at a table full of girls, hopefully they will all be friends soon.

Kaitlyn was so excited to ride the bus.  There was some confusion as too which house the bus driver was suppose to drop Kaitlyn off, (the new subdivision or our farm house) but they found us and she loved every second of it.

While Kaitlyn was at school, Alexis and I decided to make Kaitlyn a giant chocolate chip cookie.  She was so surprised, I wish I could have had a picture of her face when she first saw it.  It was fun for her to have and Alexis had a blast making it.  Kaitlyn loved her first day of school and so far loved her second.  We look forward to watching her grow and learn so much this coming year!  WE LOVE YOU KAITLYN!!!
