Western Days Parade

The first weekend in June we headed into Twin for the Western Days Parade. The girls love going to the parade because they always throw out tons of candy for them to eat, plus they like watching as the parade goes by. The weather was really nice but it was windy and kind of chilly in the beginning. It will be nice for summer to actually be here.

The grassy spot we found to sit at was in the shade, which would have been great but it was windy and a little chilly. Kaitlyn wanted to sit in the sun so she was sitting on the curb by another family. They let her borrow their extra pink chair to sit on. It was pretty funny.
Waiting for the parade to start
The first group to come through the parade was the Medal Gold Dairy Truck. They were handing out chocolate milk to everyone at the parade. The girls LOVE chocolate milk, so they were pretty excited!
Watching the horses and flags go by
Yeah for parades!
After the parade we walked through the different booths and then let the girls play at the park.
In the end they had a fun time and you can tell Kaitlyn was still in good spirits but,
Alexis on the other hand was tired and ready to go home, this was the closest we came to getting a smile out of her.
Heading back to the car.
As hard as I tried, my waddling couldn't keep up with Taylor and the girls. I think they have gotten used to me being behind and they know I will catch up at some point. :)
