Yummy Food from our Garden

This year we planted a very large garden (25' x 50'). We have had a lot of fun pulling weeds, watering and taking care of the garden. Needless to say it has been a project, but we are now starting to reap the rewards of all the hard work. We planted green beans, peas, red and russet potatoes, carrots, strawberries, bell peppers, yellow banana peppers, jalapeno peppers, corn, watermelon, honey dew, cantalope, and cucumbers. Unfortunately the watermelons, green beans, and strawberries wont produce anything this year. We have also discovered something is eating our corn, we think it might be a skunk. It climbs up the stalks, peels the corn half way and eats half of the cob. So we are trying to get as much corn as we can before it's all destroyed. Here are a few pictures of the produce we have received so far. We are still waiting on our potatoes, tomatos, and mellons. It's been lots of fun.

Very impressive! We had a garden last summer but not quite as big as yours! We're jealous of the rewards you're reaping and wish you luck with your "predator." (We had deer eating ours, and eventually put in a rickety, but effective old fence!)
