Christmas

The Christmas season always seems to go by so fast. When we were kids it seemed like it took forever for that one special night when Santa would come down the chimney with all of his gifts. This year it's hard to believe it has already come and gone and the new year is upon us. We traveled down to Utah for Christmas this year. Our first stop was down to Delta for the Skidmore Christmas party. Santa made a surprise visit to deliver a few gifts, Kaitlyn didn't really know what to think. She liked the feel of his beard but didn't like the idea of sitting on his lap.Grandpa Taylor came over for dinner, since all of his great great grandbabies were there we decided it would be fun to take a five generation picture.

Christmas Eve we went to see "I am Legend" at the movie theater. Kaitlyn did good for the first half hour or so and then I ended up watching the movie from the side aisle. It was a pretty good movie. When we got home we sang some Christmas songs and read the Christmas story. It was fun and we enjoyed being with everyone. The best part was that every one of us was there for Christmas. It was such a wonderful magical holiday. We woke up Christmas morning with about 4 or 5 inches of snow covering the ground. It was beautiful and peaceful outside, just how Christmas morning should be.
Kaitlyn is sporting her new hat made by aunt Paige. Paige just started up her own online store of homemade goods for baby's. She does such a great job!!You can check out her website "Pea in a Pod" by clicking on the link under websites that is posted on our blog.
Aunt Amy, Aunt Melanie, Uncle Sean, and Kaitlyn hanging out on the stairs waiting to see what Santa brought.

Kaitlyn loves to sit in her little musical toy. She would sit in it all day as long as we would push her back and forth in it. It's cute to see how she reacts to it as it plays the music.
Yummy Christmas breakfast. Kaitlyn was asleep when we took this picture, but check out how cute little Liddy is. Every picture we would take she would just put on the biggest cheesy smile.
Here are some of Kaitlyn's Christmas
